Damate Group made a decision to increase the design capacity of the plant for deep processing of turkey that is under construction, by 40%, from 214 up to 303 tons per day. The total investment in the project will increase to 8.8 billion rubles.
Damate Group entered the TOP-25 largest meat producers in the Russian Federation according to the magazine Agroinvestor. Based on the results of 2019, the company moved from the 20th to the 15th place. For five years Damate has increased the volume of turkey production by 3.8 times up to 131 thousand tons.
Damate Group opened the first feedlot for young sheep in the Stavropol Territory. The site is designed for a one-time keeping of 14 thousand heads. The launch of the new enterprise has created 50 jobs in the region.
Damate became the first Russian turkey supplier to receive Halal certificate, which grants the right to export products to Saudi Arabia. The company has been certified by the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA).
Damate Group and Rosselkhozbank JSC signed an agreement under the terms of which the bank transferred the company claim rights for obligations of Donstar LLC (Rostov region), which owns the country's largest industrial complex for the production of duck meat with a capacity of 16.5 thousand tons per year.
Damate Group will support the homeless animals aid fund. The company will provide food charitable assistance to the shelter's pets every month during 2020.
Damate Group has launched its own mutton brand - BAZARCO. Under the new brand, the company plans to produce a wide range of products, including natural and chopped semi-finished products, marinades and ready-made dishes.
