Damate Group, a category expert and leader in niche meat markets, hosted a tasting event at a renowned Shanghai restaurant. The event was organized as part of the program for the SIAL China 2026 international food exhibition. This tasting evening provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Damate’s products to Chinese partners.

The event brought together representatives from China’s restaurant and HoReCa sectors, as well as procurement specialists from retail chains and the foodservice industry. A professional chef from the company, working alongside the restaurant’s team, presented a specially curated tasting menu featuring ten turkey-based dishes.

China is a key strategic market for Damate. The company was among the first in Russia to obtain export permits for the country and began supplying turkey and duck products; shipment volumes are currently seeing steady growth.

At its exhibition stand, Damate showcased its "Indilight" turkey products and duck products under the "Ozerka" and "Salima" brands. Visitors to the stand could explore the product range and learn more about the company. Negotiations regarding potential export shipments were also held with key importers during the exhibition.

Damate has been exporting turkey to China since 2019. Initially, products were supplied solely from the company's turkey production complex in the Penza region. In late 2023, shipments also began from Damate’s turkey complex in the Rostov region. In 2024, Damate expanded its export product range from the Rostov region to include duck. Additionally, Damate exports turkey and duck meat to Hong Kong, a Special Administrative Region of China. Since 2000, SIAL Shanghai has served as a key platform for food and beverage producers focused on exports and international market expansion. The exhibition brings together producers, distributors, buyers, and representatives from the foodservice sector.
