Damate Group, Russia’s leading turkey producer, continues to expand the geographical reach of its product exports. The company has begun exporting turkey to the Central African Republic. As a result, Damate products are now exported to approximately 20 countries across the African continent.

To date, over 200 tons of products have already been shipped, and deliveries are ongoing. The export product range includes frozen turkey cuts, which are in high demand in the African region.

International shipments originate from the company’s turkey production complexes in the Penza and Rostov regions. Prior to the start of deliveries, the production facilities underwent rigorous audits to ensure compliance with product safety and quality standards. High production standards and extensive experience in exporting—including to African nations—enabled the company to quickly secure the necessary certification approvals.

"Today, the African continent is one of Damate’s key export markets, with the number of importing countries approaching twenty. For each country, we tailor a product portfolio that meets consumer preferences while remaining price-competitive. This approach allows us to shape consumption habits in each country and strengthen our position in the region. Launching turkey exports to the Central African Republic is a logical step in our export strategy, which aims to expand our presence on the continent," said Daria Lashchenko, Damate’s Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales.

Turkey is not the first product Damate has supplied to the Central African Republic; the company has been exporting duck meat from its Rostov-based duck production complex to the country since 2015.

Damate began developing its export operations in 2015. In 2025, Damate exported 29,000 tons of turkey, duck, and lamb, as well as further-processed products—a 25% increase compared to 2024.
